Tuition fee reimbursement hike from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1,000 up to Class XII for NGO's & Class IV employees of A.P. Govt.

A.P state government has decided to increase the tuition fee reimbursement for the children of its NGO's and Class IV employees from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1,000, to students pursuing education up to Class XII. The reimbursement benefit will be given only to two children of the employee as now.

Decision to hike the tuition fee reimbursement was taken by Chief Minister in response to several representations received for such a hike from employees' organizations, students and their parents. The proposal to extend the facility of five days casual leave in addition to the permissible leave allowed to the women teaches working in the government junior colleges on a par with their counterparts in the School Education Department. These two decisions are expected to benefit a large number of children of the NGOS and Class IV employees besides the women teachers in the government junior college.
