రిమోట్ విండోస్ కంప్యూటర్ డెస్క్ టాప్ ని యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యటానికి...
విండోస్ లోని Remote Desktop Connection అనే ఫీచర్ ని వుపయోగించి నెట్ వర్క్ లో వున్న విండోస్ కంప్యూటర్ ని యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యవచ్చు. దీని కోసం ఈ క్రింది విధంగా చెయ్యాలి.

1. నెట్ వర్క్ లోని ఏ కంప్యూటర్ ని అయితే యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యాలనుకొంటున్నామో ఆ కంప్యూటర్ లో My Computer పై మౌస్ రైట్ క్లిక్ చేసి Properties ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకోవాలి.




2. ఇప్పుడు System Properties డైలాగ్ బాక్స్ ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది అక్కడ Remote టాబ్ ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని Remote Desktop దగ్గరవున్న Allow users to connect remotely to this computer దగ్గర క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. ఇలా చెయ్యటం వలన నెట్ వర్క్ లోని అందరు యూజర్లు ఆ కంప్యూటర్ డెస్క్ట్ టాప్ ని యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యగలరు లేదు కావలసిన యూజర్లను మాత్రమే allow చెయ్యటానికి ’Select Remote Users' పై క్లిక్ చేసి కావలసిన యూజర్లను యాడ్ చేసుకోవచ్చు.



పైన చెప్పిన మార్పులు చేసిన తర్వాత System Properties డైలాగ్ బాక్స్ లో 'OK' పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. ఈ సిస్టం యొక్క computer name ని గుర్తు పెట్టు కోవాలి.

౩. ఇప్పుడు వేరొక కంప్యూటర్ కి వెళ్ళి Start ---> All Programs ---> Accessories ---> Remote Desktop Connection పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. Remote Desktop Connection డైలాగ్ బాక్స్ ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది. అక్కడ ఇంతకుముందు మార్పులు చేసిన సిస్టం యొక్క పూర్తి Computer Name ఎంటర్ చేసి Connect బటన్ పై క్లిక్ చేస్తే లాగిన్ విండో ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది. అక్కడ యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యవలసిన సిస్టం యూజర్ నేమ్ మరియు పాస్ వార్డ్ ఎంటర్ చేసి ఆ రిమోట్ సిస్టం డెస్క్ట్ టాప్ ని యాక్సెస్ చెయ్యవచ్చు.




పీసీ వేగాన్ని పెంచటానికి చిట్కాలు!!!
ఈనాడు లో వచ్చిన మందగించిపోయిన పీసీ వేగాన్ని పెంచాలంతే విధిగా చెయ్యాల్సిన పనులేంటి?, దీనికి సమాధానంగా నేను పంపిన వ్యాసం లో కొంత భాగం ఈనాడు దినపత్రికలో ప్రచురితమైంది. దాని పూర్తి పాఠాన్ని ఇక్కడ యిస్తున్నాను:

ఎంత ఉన్నత కాన్ఫిగరేషన్ కలిగిన కంప్యూటర్ అయినా సరే ప్రీగా వస్తున్నాయి కదా అని అవసరం వున్నా లేకున్నా సాప్ట్ వేర్లు సిస్టం లో ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసుకొంటూ పోతే కొంత కాలానికి దాని వేగం మరియు పనితనం మందగిస్తాయి. అలాకాకుండా వుండాలంటే మనకు అవసరమైన ప్రోగ్రాములు మాత్రమే మన కంప్యూటర్ లో ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసుకోవాలి, అనవసరమైన వాటిని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తొలగిస్తూ ఉండాలి.

దానితో పాటు ఇక్కడ చెప్పిన చిట్కాలు విండోస్ యూజర్లు విధిగా చేస్తుంటే పీసీ వేగాన్ని పెంచవచ్చు:
1. టెంపరరీ ఫైళ్ళను తొలగించటం:

ఏదైనా ఫైల్ లేదా ప్రోగ్రామ్ ఓపెన్ చేసినప్పుడు టెంపరరీ ఫైళ్ళు క్రియేట్ చెయ్యబడతాయి. అన్నిసార్లూ విండోస్ వీటిని తొలగించదు దాంతో పీసీ పనితనం తగ్గుతుంది. టెంపరరీ ఫోల్డర్ లోని ఫైళ్ళను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తొలగిస్తూ వుండాలి. అది ఎలాగంటే ముందుగా Control Panel కి వెళ్ళి Folder Options పై డబుల్ క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి, ఇప్పుడు ఓపెన్ అయిన Folder Options విండోలో View టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి Show hidden files and folders ఆప్షన్ ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని OK పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. ఇలా చెయ్యటం వలన సిస్టం లో దాగివున్న
ఫైళ్ళు మరియు ఫోల్డర్లను చూడవచ్చు. ఇప్పుడు My Computer ఓపెన్ చేసి C డైరెక్టరీ లో Temp ఫోల్డర్ కై C:\> Documents and Settings ----> User Name ----> Local Settings ----> Temp కి వెళ్ళి అక్కడవున్న ఫైళ్ళను
తొలగించాలి. ఫైళ్ళను తొలగించేముందు అన్ని ప్రోగ్రాములు మరియు ఫైళ్ళు క్లోజ్ చెయ్యాలి.

2. ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టం ను తరచూ అప్ డేట్ చెయ్యటం:

వ్యాలీడ్ యూజర్లు విండోస్ అప్ డేట్లను మైక్రోసాప్ట్ విండోస్ అప్ డేట్స్ సైట్ నుండి ఉచితంగా పొందవచ్చు. లేదంటే My Computer పై మౌస్ రైట్ క్లిక్ చేసి Properties సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకోగా వచ్చే విండో లో Automatic Updates టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి Automatic ఆప్షన్ లో నిర్ణీత సమయాన్ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొంటే విండోస్ అప్ డేట్స్ ఆటోమాటిక్ గా మైక్రోసాప్ట్ సైట్ నుండి డౌన్లోడ్ అయ్యి , ఇనస్టలెషన్ చెయ్యబడతాయి. దీనికోసం ఇంటర్నెట్ తప్పని సరిగా వుండాలి.

3. యాంటీ వైరస్ సాప్ట్ వేర్ ని అప్ డేట్ చెయ్యటం:
మన కంప్యూటర్ వైరస్ ఫ్రీ గా వుండేలా చూసుకోవాలి, దీని కోసం సిస్టం లో యాంటీ వైరస్ తప్పనిసరిగా వుండాలి, అంతేకాదు దానిని తరచూ అప్ డేట్ చేస్తూ వుండాలి.

4. యాంటీ స్పైవేర్ సాప్ట్ వేర్ ని ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసుకోవటం:
అంతర్జాలం లో చాలా వుచిత యాంటీ స్పైవేర్ లభిస్తాయి, వాటిలో Spybot చాలా బాగా పనిచేస్తుంది. Spybot ని ఇనస్టలేషన్ చేసుకొని తరచూ సిస్టం ని స్కాన్ చేస్తూ వుండాలి.

5. టెంపరరీ ఇంటర్నెట్ ఫైళ్ళను తొలగించటం:
ఇంటర్నెట్ వాడుతుంటే కనుక రెగ్యులర్ గా హిస్టరీని, కుకీస్ ని ఫైళ్ళను డిలీట్ చేస్తూ వుండాలి.

6.Recycle Bin లో ఫైళ్ళను తొలగించటం:

డిలీట్ చేసిన ఫైళ్ళు Recycle Bin లో చేరతాయి, [Shift] + [Delete] కీలను ప్రెస్ చెయ్యటం ద్వారా డిలీట్ అయిన ఫైళ్ళు Recycle Bin కి చేరవు. Recycle Bin లో ఫైళ్ళను తొలగించటం ద్వారా డిస్క్ స్పేస్ ఆదా చెయ్యవచ్చు.

పైన చెప్పిన వాటిని రెగ్యులర్ గా చేస్తూ ఈ క్రింది వాటిని కూడా చేస్తే సిస్టం ఫెర్ఫామెన్స్ బాగుంటుంది:

1. Virtual Memory Settings:

ఫిజికల్ మెమొరీ ఫిల్ అయిన తర్వాత విండోస్ హార్డ్ డిస్క్ లోని స్పేస్ ని ఉపయోగించుకుంటుంది, దీనినే వర్చువల్ మెమొరీ అంటాం, వర్చువల్ మెమొరీ పెంచటం ద్వారా సిస్టం ఫెర్ఫామెన్స్ పెరుగుతుంది. Virtual Memory Sttings మార్చటానికి My Computer పై మౌస్ రైట్ క్లిక్ చేసి Properties సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకోగా వచ్చే విండోలో Advanced టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి Performance దగ్గర వున్న
Settings పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. అప్పుడు ఓపెన్ అయ్యే Performance Options లో Advanced టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి క్రింద Virtual Memory దగ్గర Change పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. ఇప్పుడు ఓపెన్ అయ్యే Virtual Memory లో Custom Size ఆప్షన్ ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని Initial Size మరియు Maximum Size వివరాలు MB లలో ఎంటర్ చేసి Set పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి.

2. Disable Visual Effects:

ఫ్యాన్సీ బటన్స్, షాడోస్, స్లైడింగ్ మెనూస్ మొదలగు విసువల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ అవసరం లేదంటే డిసేబుల్ చేసుకోవచ్చు. దీని కోసం My Computer పై మౌస్ రైట్ క్లిక్ చేసి Properties సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకోగా వచ్చే విండోలో Advanced టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి Performance దగ్గర వున్న Settings పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. అప్పుడు ఓపెన్ అయ్యే Performance Options లో Visual Effects టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి
Custom ఆప్షన్ ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని క్రింద వున్న ఆప్షన్ల దగ్గర టిక్ తీసివేయాలి.

3. Hard Disk Defragmentation:

కంప్యూటర్ కొన్న క్రొత్తలో చాలా ఫాస్ట్ గా వుంటుంది, రాను రాను ప్రోగ్రాములు ఇనస్టలేషన్ మరియు అన్ ఇన్ స్టాల్ చెయ్యటం వలన హార్డ్ డిస్క్
లో మధ్య మధ్యలో కొన్ని బ్లాక్స్ లలో ఖాళీ ప్రదేశాలు ఏర్పడతాయి. తర్వాత ఏదైనా డిస్క్ పై వ్రాయాలంటే ఎక్కడ ఖాళీ దొరికితే అక్క్డడ వ్రాయబడుతుంది. దీనివలన డిస్క్ పై వ్రాయాలన్నా లేదా రీడ్ చెయ్యాలన్నా ఎక్కువ సమయం పడుతుంది. హార్డ్ డిస్క్ లోని non-consecutive parts ఒక దగ్గరికి తీసుకొని రావటానికి తరచూ హార్డ్ డిస్క్ ని డీఫ్రాగ్మెంట్ చేస్తూవుండాలి. Hard Disk Defragmentation కోసం My Computer పై మౌస్ రైట్ క్లిక్ చేసి Manage సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొంటే Computer Management ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది, అక్కడ వున్న Disk Defragmenter పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. తర్వాత Defragment చెయ్యవలసిన డిస్క్ ని సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకొని Defragment బటన్ పై క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి.

4. Managing Startup Programs:

ఇనస్టలేషన్ చెయ్యబడిన ప్రోగ్రాములు సిస్టం స్టార్ట్ అప్ లో స్టార్ట్ అవ్వటం వలన స్టార్ట్ అవ్వటానికి ఎక్కువ సమయం పడుతుంది. Startup లో అనవసర ప్రోగ్రాములు తొలగించటం వలన స్టార్ట్ అప్ సమయం తగ్గించవచ్చు. దీని కోసం Start ---> Run కి వెళ్ళి msconfig అని టైప్ చేసి Ok క్లిక్ చెయ్యాలి. ఓపెన్ అయిన System Configuration Utility లో Startup టాబ్ కి వెళ్ళి జాగ్రత్తగా అనవసర ప్రోగ్రాముల ముందున్న టిక్ తీసివేయాలి.
