Always remember that English is not “phonetic”. That means that we do not always say a word the same way that we spell it.

So it seems that in many ways the roles are similar. Now days more than ever teachers are also responsible for basic things that parents SHOULD be responsible for- for example manners, tieing shoe laces, social skills, honesty. Especially in the very early years of school.
