As per GO.Ms.No.54 / dt:25-1-2011 Census Duty allowed absence from their office for half-day from (Feb-9 to Feb-28-2011)

After careful consideration of the proposal of the Director of Census Operations, AP Hyderabad, Government hereby decide that the following concessions be extended to the employees drafted for Census duty from 9 February to 28 February, 2011, followed by the revisional round from 1-5th March, 2011:-

1. The days on which the employees attend the Training Classes will be treated as duty.

20/01/2011 నుండి అమలులోకి రానున్న మొబైల్ నంబర్ పోర్టబిలిటీ!!!

మనం ఎంతో కాలంగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్న మొబైల్ నంబర్ పోర్టబిలిటీ గురువారం అంటే 20/01/2011 నుండి అమలులోకి రానున్నది. అసలు మొబైల్ నంబర్ పోర్టబిలిటీ అంటే మన మొబైల్ ఫోన్ సర్వీస్ ప్రొవైడర్ (నెట్ వర్క్)/ ఆపరేటర్ అందించే సేవలు సరిగా లేనప్పుడు (సిగ్నల్ స్రిగా లేకపోవటం, బిల్లింగ్ సమస్యలు, ఎక్కువ ఆఫర్లు లేకపోవటం మొదలగునవి)మొబైల్ నంబర్ మార్చకుండా ఆపరేటర్ (నెట్ వర్క్) ని మార్చటం అన్నమాట. నంబర్ పాతదే కానీ నచ్చిన ఆపరేటర్ కి మారవచ్చు. అయితే ప్రీ-పెయిడ్ కస్టమర్లు ఆపరేటర్ మార్చినప్పుడు బ్యాలన్స్ క్యారీఫార్వార్డ్ కాదు. అదే పోస్ట్-పెయిడ్ వినియోగదారులు అయితే బిల్లులు మొత్తం చెల్లించాలి. ఆపరేటర్ మార్చటానికి 1900 కి SMS పంపితే యూనీక్ పోర్టింగ్ కోడ్ (UPC) వస్తుంది. SMS పంపటానికి PORT అని టైప్ చేసి స్పేస్ ఇచ్చి మొబైల్ నంబర్ ఎంటర్ చేసి 1900 కి పంపాలి ఉదా: (PORT 9912345678). UPC తో నచ్చిన ఆపరేటర్ దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళి అప్లికేషన్ ఫార్మ్ నింపి, అవసరమైన పత్రాలు జత చేసి, రు.19/- కడితే సరిపోతుంది. ఫొస్ట్-పెయిడ్ వియోగదారులు అయితే డిపాజిట్ కట్టవలసి ఉంటుంది.

SLET(SLET State Level Eligibility Test) - 2011 in A.P on thoughts, OU Ready to hold SLET test

A.P Government has decided to revive the State Level Eligibility Test -SLET, and give the responsibility to Osmania University. Quality of test to be on a par with NET, UGC also involved in the examination process. Las time SLET was conducted in 1999 by College Service Commission now abolished, UGC gave APPSC the responsibility to hold SLET, but APPSC failed to conduct SLET test.
