DEPARTMENTAL TESTS MAY 2010

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the Departmental Tests Examinations at (22) District Head Quarters (except Ranga Reddy District which is clubbed with Hyderabad District) for MAY, 2010 Session from 09/12/2010 to 14/12/2010.
The Commission is inviting the Departmental applications from the candidates for May-2010 Session examinations through ON-LINE only on payment of Rs.25/- for each Test. Application Form, Time-Table and other full details are available in the Commission’s Website http://www.apspsc.gov.in.
Applicants shall apply the Departmental Test for May 2010 Session examinations through ON-LINE ONLY from 21/10/2010 to 13/11/2010 (from 21/10/2010 to 09/11/2010 for payment of fees) as the earlier procedure of sale of applications at the Head Post Offices at District Head Quarters and at SALES COUNTER of APPSC Office has been dispensed with by the Commission.
Last date for payment of Fee at AP Online/SBI: 09/11/2010.
Last date for submission of Application: 13/11/2010 -5.00 P.M.

Eligibility:
1) SGTs with a minimum of 05 years of experience but should not cross the age of 53 as on 31.7.2010.
2) Teachers are eligible to work as MRPs in the same mandal.
3) Office bearers of Teacher Unions are not eligible to work as MRPs.
Written examination : Objective type for 85 marks and Oral interview for 15 marks

Duration : 90 minutes
Syllabus : Content of I to VII Classes, Child Psychology, Child centred Pedagogy, Methodology, General Knowledge, RTE Act 2009, NCF 2005, SSA etc.

BITTER MELON – A MEDICINE FOR ALL AILMENTS.

BITTER MELON (Momordica Charantia) known by different names such as Ampalaya, Balsam pear, Bitter cucumber, Bitter gourd, Foo gwa, Karela, La-kwa, etc. Momordica charantia is a tropical and subtropical vine of the family Cucurbitaceae  widely grown for edible fruit, which is among the most bitter of all vegetables. Bitter melon or Bitter gourd is the English names for the plant and its fruit. It looks like a cucumber but with ugly gourd-like bumps all over it.

C&DSE Released Proceedings for Regularisation of Services of Teachers

• The Director of School Education, Hyderabad vide his Proc.RC.No.2265/D2-1/2010,dt.02.09.2010,has clarified that the District Educational Officer (DEO) is the Appointing Authority as per G.O.Ms.No.12, Edn.,dt.23.01.2009. Hence, DEOs can give Service Regularization Proceedings to Z.P.P. & M.P.P. Teachers.
